Polly Cartlidge – Senior neurological occupational therapist at Advance Rehab Centre

Polly Cartlidge is a very experienced neurological occupational therapist and here she outlines the role that occupational therapy can play in the management of an individual with FND’s broader presentation and life limitations. Polly discusses the importance of OT in aspects such as fatigue management and cognitive training as well as guiding therapy around activities of daily living functioning, and how these factors may influence one another. Polly also touches on the bigger goals an individual may have surrounding work or schooling functionality and the importance of working closely with all involved.
