Big Picture Patient Care in FND
Within this module we provide the opportunity to hear from other members of the MDT in regard to their role and approach to management of the FND patient population. By understanding better each team members scope, approach and potential contribution to patient care we hope to promote appropriate MDT collaboration where required and ultimately a cohesive and patient centered ethos.
Learning aims: To understand the roles of different professions in FND management.
- The neurologist and transference of care to the extended team
- Presentations of speech and voice disturbance in FND
- Treatment approaches within psychology
- OT for cognitive support and managing daily life
